The Mexican Women’s American Soccer Team debuts with victory in the World Cup in Finland

MEXICO CITY (appro).- The Mexican Women’s American Soccer Team not only managed to travel to Finland for the World Cup in the category, but also debuted with a 34-6 victory against their peer from Australia.

Despite the fact that the national team had to travel to the World Cup in three contingents, which meant that some players had to sleep at the airport, were unable to train in Finland and even arrived a few hours before the game against Australia that took place this August 3, they managed to emerge victorious.

Unfortunately, because they didn’t make it to their first game because they missed their flights because the Mexican Federation of American Football (FMFA) didn’t pay them on time, they took the loss by default.

Although next Sunday, August 7, at 5:00 am, Mexico City time, they will face Germany to obtain fifth place in the contest. In the 2017 World Cup, the Mexican team won the bronze medal by beating Great Britain 19-8
