Briton Ethan Hayter (Ineos Grenadiers) won the Tour of Poland at the end of the 7th and final stage, settled in a sprint by Frenchman Arnaud Démare (Groupama-FDJ) on Friday in Krakow.

Démare, who signs his fifth success of the season after three stage victories on the Giro and a success on the Route d’Occitanie, won in power ahead of the Dutchman Olav Kooij and the German Phil Bauhaus.

Hayter, 23, took the leader’s yellow jersey on Thursday during the penultimate stage, an uphill time trial. On the list of winners of the World Tour classified event, he succeeds the Portuguese Joao Almeida.
