The Carabinieri of the Compagnia di Trapani, at the conclusion of a territorial control service, which involved the municipalities of Trapani and Erice and which was carried out with the support of the Operational Intervention Company of the 12th Sicily Carabinieri Regiment, have deferred in a state of freedom 3 people for various offenses.
In particular, the Carabinieri have found inside a car, a knife of the forbidden kind, a baseball bat and an iron pipe. For this reason, the occupants of the car, a 23-year-old and a 28-year-old, both resident in the Trapani area and with a police history, were reported for the crime of illegal carrying of weapons.
In the continuation of the control activities, the operating soldiers referred a 40-year-old foreign citizen, as he would have violated the obligations inherent to the measure of the special surveillance to which he had been subjected as a result of previous crimes against the person and property.
In the same operational context, as part of targeted activities to combat drug dealing, 6 people were reported to the Prefecture of Trapani, as non-therapeutic employers, in possession of modest quantities of crack
and some artisanal cigarettes containing hashish.
