The Capitales de Québec signed a second consecutive victory against their Quebec rivals the Aigles de Trois-Rivières, Wednesday night, beating them by a score of 8 to 3 at Quillorama Stadium.

The visitors had also won 3-2 the day before, and will have the opportunity to clean up this series on Thursday.

David Glaude made the difference in the fifth set with a grand slam that put the Capitals ahead by four points. It capped off a dreadful onslaught for Eagles pitcher Osman Gutierrez.

The latter had allowed Tristan Pompey to hit a double and Marc-Antoine Lebreux a single, while Yordan Manduley reached the cushions on a base on balls. All these beautiful people crossed the marble with the momentum of Glaude.

The Capitals finished the game with 15 hits. Codie Paiva was the starting gunner for Quebec.
