The Big Bill of Coaticook is washed out 12-0 against Victoriaville

BASEBALL. Difficult evening for the Big Bill of Coaticook, who lost on the road by the score of 12-0, Thursday (August 11), against the Cactus of Victoriaville.

Victoriaville is only 2 games away from 3e rank of the B45 division behind the Big Bill of Coaticook who sent the message that the Cactus will fight until the end. The Locals opened the scoring in the opening inning with 5 runs including 4 on singles by Yan-Éric Tremblay and Donnie Gardiner good for 2 each. In the next round Gardiner repeats with a slap of 3 points. In 4eRylan Sandoval adds to it with a solo homer while Pier-Olivier Dostaler and Étienne Blanchettte produce the last two runs with consecutive singles in the bottom of 6e some.

Summary

Gabriel Fromental-Houle with a single and a double was the only one to put the ball in a safe place on 2 occasions in front of Étienne Blanchettte who was solid on the mound for 5 innings recording 7 strikeouts in the victory. Alexandre Pharand takes a setback on the Coaticook side
