Xi’an News Network News On the morning of August 3, the Baqiao Divisional Badminton Competition of the First Community Games in Xi’an was held in the Aerospace Fourth Academy Community Gymnasium. More than 90 badminton enthusiasts from 13 community teams gathered together to learn from each other and make progress together. The competition was hosted by the Organization Department of the District Party Committee, the Publicity Department of the District Party Committee, the District Culture, Tourism and Sports Bureau, and the District Civil Affairs Bureau. . The purpose of holding the community sports meeting is to provide a good communication platform for the residents of the district through the method of “party building + sports”. Community cohesion and centripetal force enhance the happiness and sense of achievement of residents in the jurisdiction.
The contestants who participated in this competition stood out through the competition in the community and street trials, and gathered on the field of the regional competition. After the opening ceremony, with a broadcast of “please referees and athletes to the venue”, the game officially kicked off. On the field, the players followed the principle of “friendship first, competition second”, taking on the challenge calmly and showing off their skills. The players tried their best and worked hard, sometimes swinging, sometimes lunging to save the ball, sometimes lobbing lightly, and sometimes smashing, presenting the audience with exciting and passionate moments. The superb ball skills made the atmosphere tense and intense, with cheers and cheers one after another.
The competition is in the form of a group round-robin match, a knockout round and a play-off. A single match adopts a best-of-three game system, with 21 points per game. The order of play is men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles. “I am very happy to participate in the badminton competition organized by the district this time. It not only exercised my body, but also enriched my spare time. It turns out that I go out to play by myself. I don’t know how many masters there are in our community. We will enhance our friendship, and we will have more companions to play in the future.” Sister Hong, a resident of the Fourth Aerospace Academy community, who participated in the game, said happily. “Community sports will provide a free competitive platform for everyone to participate in. We exercise in happiness, and we are happy in sports. Such opportunities are indeed very good. I hope the community sports will become better and better.”
After a day of fierce competition, Banpo Community of Hongqi Street, Textile Medical Community of Textile City Street and Aerospace Fourth Hospital Community of Hongqing Street won the championship, runner-up and third runner-up respectively. The top two will represent Baqiao District to participate in the city’s finals.
