The new training and competition site of the Club les Archers de Rimouski, built by the City with a view to Quebec Games next year, will be officially opened to the public.
The official opening day of the new outdoor archery field in Rimouski will take place on Saturday, August 13 (postponed to the next day in case of rain). The land is adjacent to the Adhémar Saint-Laurent Community Center (Rimouski-Est) located at 25, 3e avenue, Rimouski (Québec) G5L 2N8.
Various activities
During this festive day, which will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Club will offer several varied activities for young and old, such as an initiation component, the loan of equipment, participation prizes. Participants have a chance to win a bow.
Completion of this project represents an investment of $417,000, including $200,000 from the Infrastructure Support Program for the Quebec Games of the Ministère de l’Éducation.
