ROVIGO – The rossoblù “Girls” will play for the qualification for the playoffs on the diamond of Chieti.

The most important challenge of the season awaits today the girls of the Serie A2 Baseball Softball Club Rovigo. In Chieti the rossoblù face the local Atoms in the last round of Group B with the aim of securing a qualification for the playoffs that would crown a truly applause “remuntada”.

To hit the historic goal, the team coached by coaches Javier Pino Soto, Adriano Morabito and Cristina Pollato will have to win at least one of the two scheduled matches: game one will be played at 5pm, game two to follow in the evening.

A mission that seems largely within the reach of the “Girls” from Rovigo, who arrive at the delicate appointment with very high morale, decided to treat themselves to a high-tension season finale in the company of all the strongest formations of the A2 softball series. We need to overcome only the pride of the Atoms who, although already relegated, will sell their skin dearly to close the season in the best possible way in front of their audience. By winning even one match, the rossoblù, currently third, would overtake Longbridge and put the seal in second place behind the battleship Macerata, which dominated the group from the beginning.

After the primacy of the Serie A baseball in the Poule Salvezza, with consequent qualification to the Italian Cup, it would be another great satisfaction for the company chaired by Alessandro Boniolo, precisely in the year of the fiftieth anniversary of his birth. In the Polesano roster there is only the absence of Zielinska, while all the other athletes will be in the match.
