Game 6 of the Emilian derby was decided by a point from Paolini in the first inning. Thanks to a super test by Murilo Brolo Gouvea who kept the Parma attack at zero for all 7 rounds of play, Fortitudo got the victory by 1 to 0.

Paolini opened the match with a double while Lampe’s sacrificial serve pushed his teammate to third base. With 1 eliminated and runner on third base, Josephina’s second base hit was worth the 2nd out of the second half but allowed the Bolognese second base to score 1-0. Gouvea limited the host attack but the Bolognese clubs did not they have managed to increase their advantage. In the 3rd inning, with full bases and 1 eliminated, Josephina’s double-play serve ended the biancoblu attack with no points scored. The match continued without further opportunities either on one side or the other with UnipolSai Fortitudo who won the match 1 to 0, sending the series to game 7.
