The best way to celebrate the National Holidays is to leave the name of Peru high. Salvador Araujo knows this very well, who at just 11 years old was among the ten best junior players in badminton in america after participating in the Pan American Games of this discipline last July 30.
Of the 32 participants in singles, doubles and mixed, Salvador, a native of the department of Piura, achieved the highest score in doubles, placing himself in the ranking of the 8 best in America.

“Thanks to everyone who was with me at this Pan American. We had incredible keys, with competitors who had rankings, such as the USA, Canada, Brazil and Mexico, but even so we fought for our country, we won but we also lost the most important ones”, detailed the athlete on his social networks.
After participating in the contest held in Santo Domingo, Salvador expressed his regret for not wearing a medal for Peru; however, he stressed that at all times he gave his maximum effort and that, above all, he has gained a lot of experience.
