The evolution of Casper Ruud in recent months is remarkable. Although he appeared on the circuit as a clay court specialist, accumulating quite a few 250 titles on this surface, the Norwegian has acclimated his tennis to cement, signing great results such as the final in Miami or the semifinals in the ATP Montreal 2022. Sometimes the press qualifies you, labels you in a certain way… but I have never seen myself as a specialist on clay, beyond the fact that I prefer to play there. I also like to play on hard courts and I have shown this year that I can do well on hard courts.”
