Ronaldo hopes to leave Manchester United before the Premier League starts

Jakarta

Cristiano Ronaldo wants to move from Manchester United, but has not found a suitable club. Even though the Portuguese striker hopes the situation can be resolved before the Premier League starts this weekend.

Reported by Diario AS and quoted by the Daily Mail, Ronaldo is determined to find clarity about his future before Manchester United host Brighton & Hove Albion at Old Trafford on the first week of the new Premier League season, Sunday (7/8).

That way, he can immediately pack his suitcase to move to a new club and no longer need to follow all MU activities, as he has done until now. The problem is, it’s not easy to do in less than a week.

A number of big clubs have rejected him, such as Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, to Atletico Madrid. There are still Sporting CP and Napoli who are rumored to be interested in him, but the two names are not strong teams in the Champions League.

If you just want to add to your goal record, returning to the Italian League or returning home to Portugal would certainly make sense. However, if the goal is to win a sixth trophy in the Champions League, then moving to the two clubs is considered not the right option.

Ronaldo is believed to not be playing in the match against Brighton. He is considered not to be in 100 percent condition, having missed the pre-season tour and only last week returned to MU’s training base in Carrington.

Ronaldo has also only played once in a test match, namely against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday (31/7). In that match, he only played one half then was substituted and left the stadium before the game was over, making his future situation at United even more questionable.

Ronaldo still has until September 1 to find a new club, or before the summer transfer window closes.
