Rocket Mortgage Classic: Second win in a row for Finau

No suspense in Detroit, where Tony Finau largely won in the last lap. Party co-leader with Taylor Pendrith, the American went to -2 on the way out, then accelerated on the return with four birdies. The 16th player in the world returned a card of 67, for a total of -26, five strokes ahead of Pendrith, Patrick Cantlay and Cameron Young.

Already a winner last week in Twin Cities, Finau became this Sunday the first player of the season to win over two consecutive weeks on the PGA Tour. An unprecedented case since 2019 on the American circuit, when Brendon Todd won in Bermuda then at the Mayakoba Championship.
