Between August 1 and 6, a new edition of the Los Cabos Open arrives, in Cabo San Lucas in Mexico. This contest belongs to the ATP 250 category, and is played on cement courts. Share a week with Washington.

It will be the sixth edition that the Los Cabos tournament has its place within the ATP circuit. In 2016 it started with the title of Ivo Karlovic, followed by Sam Querrey, then it went to Fabio Fognini, in 2019, Diego Schwartzman conquered it and the last one after the 2020 break went to Cameron Norrie. The British will be present with the aim of being the first to win this tournament twice.
This edition will have the special luxury of having Daniil Medvedev, number one in the current world, as the top seed. Following the Russian, both Felix Auger-Aliassime and Cameron Norrie and Miomir Kecmanovic appear, the names that will debut directly in the second round of the Mexican contest. In the seeded batch are other standout players like Thanasi Kokkinakis and Brandon Nakashima, who could go deep this week.
Among the Latin players present, mention should be made of the Argentines Facundo Bagnis and Tomás Etcheverry, who are part of the seeded batch, and who will seek to continue adding experience on this surface, ahead of the next important events of the month. Fernando Verdasco and Feliciano López, for their part, are the Spaniards present in the painting. The wildcard guests are Feliciano himself, along with Mexicans Alex Hernández and Rodrigo Pacheco Méndez.
