Residents discovered wild animals: Berlin police rescue fox from the roof of Charlottenburg – Berlin

A fox on a balcony triggered a police operation in Berlin-Charlottenburg. The residents of an attic apartment on Danckelmannstraße discovered the animal on Saturday morning, the police said. The fox then fled onto the roof.

Alarmed police officers pushed him back onto the balcony. “He then ran unharmed through the apartment and the stairwell onto the street,” said a police spokeswoman.

How the animal got on the roof and what it was looking for there was initially unclear. The fox was shy and did not attack anyone, it was said.

Only a month ago, Fuchs “Günther” got into the office building of the Senate Department for Integration, Labor and Social Affairs in Kreuzberg. He too had made it across all floors up to the top floor. He was stopped in the stairwell, and the police eventually picked him up. (dpa)
