On the occasion of Reggina-Sudtirol, the first home match of the Serie B championship, the amaranths will pay homage to the memory of Gustavo Tolotti, the Viola flag who died last July
Gustavo Tolotti went beyond basketball. Gus was a transversal figure for Italian and Reggio sport, so much so that he remains in everyone’s memory on the shores of the Strait. His death last July, at the age of 55, after a long battle against a serious illness, saddened not only the fans of the Viola who admired it from 1986 to 1992 and from 1993 to 1999, but the whole city. This is why, pending the start of the basketball championship and the tribute that will certainly be offered by the Viola Basketball, it will be the Reggina to celebrate his memory with a splendid initiative.
On the occasion of the home match against Sudtirol on Sunday 28 August, the amaranth club will remember the iconic figure of Gustavo Tolotti. The initiative was made known through the social profiles of the team: “#InelCuoreUnaB Bandiera is not a simple slogan, #InelCuoreUnaB Bandiera is the manifest representation of what it means to link one’s existence to colors. On the occasion of the #RegginaSudtirol match, the amaranth club will honor the memory of an icon of Violet Basketball, Calabrian and national basketball.
