RSC Anderlecht take on Estonia’s Paide Linnameeskond in Tallinn in the Conference League 3rd qualifying round, Europe’s third club competition
Winner of the last Estonian Cup, the Estonian club began their journey in the first qualifying round, first eliminating the Georgians of Dinamo Tbilisi then the Armenians of FC Ararat Armenia, each time on penalties. Paide, who had to leave his small 500-seat stadium for an enclosure approved by UEFA, is currently in 4th place in his championship and seems largely inferior to Felice Mazzu’s men.

The match quickly picked up pace with Refaelov’s first chance in the 4th minute of play. A few moments later, it was the Estonians who tried their luck in front of goal, taking advantage of a Brussels defense which was struggling to get away. It is finally the goalkeeper Van Crombrugge who captures the ball on the opposing shot.
In the 10th minute of play, Lior Refaelov opened the scoring on a pass from Francis Amuzu.
