Ramos and Munar fall in Winston-Salem round of 16

Spanish tennis players Albert Ramos and Jaume Munar were eliminated this Wednesday in the round of 16 of the ATP 250 tournament in Winston-Salem (USA).which is thus left without representatives of the Spanish delegation.

Albert Ramos, eighth seeded in the tournament and number 42 in the world ranking, lost to Frenchman Adrian Mannarino, which occupies position 65 of the ATP classification, by a double 6-3 in one hour and 25 minutes.

Also for a double 6-3 was defeated by his compatriot Jaume Munar.

The fifteenth seed in Winston-Salem and number 57 in the world could not beat the Dutchman Botic van de Zandschulp in his round of 16 matchwho occupies the 23rd position in the ATP and who took the victory after a match of one hour and 33 minutes.

The Winston-Salem tournament is the last event on the ATP calendar before the US Openwhich will be held in New York from August 29 to September 11.
