Shock details in the trial against world champion Mendy
World champion Benjamin Mendy (28) has to answer in court. The Frenchman is accused of multiple rapes. The victims revealed shocking details at the hearing.
The Manchester City defender is said to have locked one of his victims in using a “fingerprint touchscreen” and made her undress. The woman: “I thought it would be the lesser of two evils.” Then he raped her against her will.
The victim in court: “What makes me so angry is how many times I’ve said ‘no’. I didn’t just say ‘no’ either. I said, ‘I don’t want to have sex with you'”. His obnoxious response is said to have been, “You’re way too shy.” This incident is said to have happened in October 2020.
He is also said to have boasted that he had sex with 10,000 women.
They met in a bar and later drove to Mendy’s estate, where he took her cell phone and looked at the pictures she had stored there. He then brought the cell phone into the aforementioned room, where the rape then took place.
Between October 2018 and August 2021, Mendy is said to have committed ten “crimes” – eight rapes, one sexual assault and one attempted rape – against seven women. He denies all allegations.
His friend Louis Saha Matturie (40) is charged with him. He is charged with eight counts of rape and four counts of sexual assault.
