Partizan, one of the iconic clubs of European basketball history, returned to EuroLeague via wildcard after 8 years of starving.
Under the leadership of the legendary coach Zeljko Obradovic, the black and white team formed an ambitious team this summer, and the interest of the fans has increased considerably.
Speaking about the fans’ interest in basketball, Partizan Basketball Branch President Ostoja Mijailovic stated that he expects a record number of combinations to be sold this year:
“I think Partizan is the only basketball club in the world that is part of a sports club and has a larger fan base than the football team. I expect our fans to break the combined sales record this year. If we sell more than 10,000 combinations for next season, we will break the EuroLeague record, I believe we can achieve that.”
Maccabi Tel Aviv, which is preparing to set out with an ambitious team just like Partizan for the next season, announced that all of the 10,000 combinations put up for sale were sold.
