This year’s US Open will take place without Alexander Zverev. As the organizers announced on Monday, the German canceled the Grand Slam tournament for tennis professionals because he did not feel completely fit after his serious foot injury at the French Open. The US Open in New York begins on August 29th. The 25-year-old Zverev is now planning his comeback in the intermediate round of the Davis Cup from September 13th to 18th in Hamburg.
