No money for star feature? The Game contradicts manager

Several tracks were removed from The Games’ new album “Drillmatic” after it was released. According to Games Manager Wack 100, the song “OPP” was dropped from the release for cost reasons. The part of NBA YoungBoy is said to have no longer fit into the budget despite a comparably cheap offer – The Game can’t let that stand.

The Games Album without NBA YoungBoy: Friendship Prize is said to have been too expensive

For a short time there was “OPP” in streaming. Not anymore. The Games Manager Wack 100 has its explanation for this in one Clubhouse-Talk presents. Although NBA YoungBoy is said to have lowered his other feature price by $150,000, his participation could no longer be financed.

“The Game does all the rapping, I do all the business. […] In Defense of YoungBoy: YoungBoy is asking $300,000 per verse. It is what it is. He got us a damn good deal, but that situation would have hurt the marketing overall. So I had to make an executive decision as to whether I wanted to pay the bill he sent me, which was a respectable, grand bill. It was love, I can’t front.”

According to Wack 100, YoungBoy has halved its usual feature price. But even with this generous discount, the deal was not economical.

The Game announces features

The Game has something to add to his manager’s statements. In the comments section of an Instagram post from XXL Mag, the Compton rapper busts about explaining that he doesn’t pay for his feature guests as a matter of principle — “never.”
