Nick Kyrgios suffers Taylor Fritz’s law in the second round of the Cincinnati Masters 1000

Quarter-finalist in Montreal last week, Nick Kyrgios will not go beyond the second round in Cincinnati. Visibly tired, the Australian could not do anything Wednesday against Taylor Fritz (6-3, 6-2). If the American is better ranked (13th, against 28th for Kyrgios), we could hope for a more committed fight.

But Kyrgios is surely suffering from a series of matches such as his body has not known for a long time. He also had his left knee manipulated during the match. A few days of rest and care before the US Open which begins on August 29 will not be too much.
