SRIPOKU.COM, PALEMBANG – New defender Rendy Siregar said he was happy to be back in the Sriwijaya FC jersey, starting his first training with Amirul Mukminin Cs in the trial match against Eximbels at the Archery JSC Palembang venue, Saturday (20/8/2022) afternoon.

“His first impression is that he is definitely happy to be back in Palembang and joining Sriwijaya FC,” said Rendy Siregar to Sripoku.com.

The arrival of the former Mitra Kukar defender to Sriwijaya FC follows the release of left back Roni Rosadi who is also the former captain of the Lampung Rhino Team yesterday.

“That is the result of our evaluation and management. I think we have had enough,” said head coach Liestiadi when it was confirmed that Roni Rosadi was released and also brought in Rendy Siregar.

Rendy, who was born in Jakarta on September 14, 1986, pushed himself to rejoin SFC because this team has a clear and serious target to welcome this season’s 2nd league.

“And not to forget there is a figure of Coach Liestiadi who contacted me to rejoin SFC,” said Rendy.

As for special targets, Rendy admits that he will definitely give the best for you
SFC.

“And I know the target of the management and the hopes of the SFC lovers to qualify for the 1st league next season. Hopefully that target will be achieved with the hard work of all elements, starting from the official management coach players and Sriwijaya FC fans,” he concluded.

In order to further strengthen its left wing defense, which is considered to be still rather weak, the Sriwijaya FC team brought back former defender Rendy Siregar ahead of the Liga 2 competition which is planned to be rolled out on 29 August 2022.
