NBA superstar Kevin Durant has resisted rumors of an imminent retirement. “I know most people will believe anonymous sources more than I do, but if anyone out there is listening, I have no plans to retire anytime soon,” Durant tweeted. “This shit is ridiculous.”

On Monday, the usually well-informed NBA insider Marc Stein reported that a pro league basketball official told him that Durant would retire before he had to play another game for the Brookyln Nets. The two-time NBA champion and three-time Olympic champion wants to leave the club.
