NBA personality doesn’t see much change for the Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers traded for Patrick Beverley and people have a lot of opinions about it.

Most people didn’t expect the Lakers to make the move and acquire the controversial and brash star.

But, of course, LA thinks Beverley could help the team’s chances in the new season and they were willing to ship off both Talen Horton-Tucker and Stanley Johnson to get him.

Some people expected a lot more from the Lakers front office, they expected monster trades that would rock the league.

But he should also remember that the Lakers might not be done with their offseason moves.

They could still secure a few other assets through transactions.

In fact, the latest rumors suggest that LA has its sights set on several other stars.

Will they be as big as, say, Kyrie Irving?

It’s unlikely, but the Lakers are hatching a plan that they believe will work well.

They are not just trade for Beverley – instead, he’s part of a bigger puzzle coming together, hoping to nudge the team in the right direction.
