Rafael Nadal has fallen 7-6(9), 4-6, 6-3 against Croatian Borna Coric, number 152 in the ATP, in his debut at the Cincinnati Masters 1,000. It was also the first match after an abdominal injury forced him to withdraw from Wimbledon.
