The duel between Millonarios and Deportivo Cali left a curious fact, which stole the eyes of those attending the El Campín stadium and television. A dog entered the court, running all over the grass and without being able to stop it. The incident generated laughter, but, with the antecedent of a sanction.
It should be remembered that in the duel between Pasto and Unión Magdalena, a canine entered the field, where it ran for about five minutes, stopping the game in the final minutes. This represented a sanction for the Nariñense cast.
Same situation for Millionaires. This was made known by Dimayor, through the resolution of the Disciplinary Committee, stating that “Millionaires, sanctioned with five million pesos for incurring in the infraction described in literal D of article 78 of the CDU of the FCF; in the match played for the sixth date of the BetPlay League against the Asociación Deportivo Cali club.
The center of the game reported “At minute 43 of the game, the game was suspended for 2 minutes 30 seconds due to the entry of a canine onto the field of play. Once this situation was controlled, the game continued normally”.
The report concluded with article 78 of the CDU, in which certain sanctions are stipulated, to the club that, for some reason, delays the playing time. Millionaires will have the option of the replacement resource.
