Milan-Vicenza 6-1: De Ketelaere debut, injuries for Tonali and Messias

The big wait ended at minute 75, when Charles De Ketelaere made his debut with the shirt of Milan. Many went back to August 23, 2003 in Cesena, Milan-National Bucharest, Ricardo Kakà’s first time in the Rossoneri, hoping that the love story will be equally full of glory. With the match with Vicenza at that point now closed (Milan were already 6-1 ahead), the approach was soft, lots of space and little pressure, but for the first few minutes with the new shirt it was fine. A couple of interesting ideas, a little left out, waiting for what will be.

The cold goal woke Milan, which from that moment took control of the game, relying on its irrepressible and devastating left wing.

Tonali, adductor injury

The negative news (but not insignificant) were the injuries: in particular that of Tonali, forced to leave after a few minutes of the second half due to a problem with his left adductor, with the midfielder who immediately left the field with his head down. The other, apparently less serious, of Messiah, came out limping with a problem in his left ankle.
