The International Archery Federation announced the names of the four Mexican goalkeepers who will join Dafne Quintero to participate in the final of Archery World Cupsto be held in the month of October, in Tlaxcala. The chosen ones are Alexandra Valencia and Jesús Flores, in recurve, and Andrea Becerra and Miguel Becerra, in compound.

It should be remembered that Mexico, being local, I had four places guaranteed, one per category. The only goalkeeper who got her ticket directly was Dafne Quintero when she won a bronze in Gwangju and silver in Medellín. The Mexican arrives as the fifth best in the world and will try to prove it in front of her people.

Right now, the three-time Olympian is in 11th place in the world ranking, a place that makes her the best-positioned Mexican.
