Spar Girona announced this morning that Magali Mendy is pregnant. The player, who was not at the first training session on Monday, explained it today to her teammates and the new coach, Bernat Canut.
So, Mendy will not be available for this season, 2022/23, and Uni is already looking for a replacement: “The sports management is working on the new configuration of the squad”.
Spar Girona wanted to congratulate and “share the joy” of Mendy, who averaged 8.6 points and 2.7 rebounds last season.
