Lukas Podolski (37) has been under contract with Górnik Zabrez in Poland since July 2021. At the weekend his team played 2-2 at Legia Warsaw – after a 2-0 lead. Although the former national player (130 international matches) was only injured on the bench, Poldi still got upset after the game – and shot at the referees and video assistants.
At “ The Truth of Football “the YouTube football talk by the well-known Polish journalist Roman Kolton, Poldi didn’t mince his words.
Because there were disputed referee decisions at 2: 2, Poldi was also asked to be a video referee.

In Poland there is a bus in front of the stadium and everything is checked there and sent to the referee. He doesn’t make any decisions, only the people on the bus.”
