We invite you to apply for the pre-season seminar for LJBL referees, which will take place on August 16, right before the Alfred Krauklis memorial basketball tournament.
Venue: University of Business Turība, Graudu Street 68.
Time: 11:00 – 15:00
The seminar will be led by LJBL chief referee Oskars Lucis.
In the seminar, we will talk about the current events of the new season and various nuances related to the changes in refereeing, as well as the basics of refereeing will be repeated so that the younger referees understand the nuances faster.
From 19.-21. The Alfred Krauklis memorial basketball tournament will take place on August 10, where the new LJBL referees will have the opportunity to referee games and prove themselves.
There will be an innovation within the games: judges – observers who will evaluate and analyze the actions of the judges, discussing both the good actions and the wrong situations after the games.
There will be another online referee seminar before the season. The day and time will be confirmed.
*LJBL referee shirts will be available to the coach of the respective sports school at the coaches’ seminar scheduled for September 3rd.
