Lillestrøm coach believes in it before the return against Antwerp: “Anything is possible”

In the first leg, the Antwerpers won 1-3 in Norway. “We are looking forward to playing this match, even if we will not start in the best possible mood,” Bakke said at a press conference on Wednesday. “We made mistakes in the first game and it cost us three goals. We will have to play a very good game if we want to go through.”

“You never know in football,” continued the 52-year-old Norwegian. “We will have to play compact and stay defensive. They will want to hurt us, we have to be prepared for that.”

Marius Lundemo, who recently returned to Norway from APOEL Nicosia, was on the bench in the first leg and saw a ‘strong Antwerp with lots of good players’. Nevertheless, the 28-year-old Norwegian midfielder still believes in it. “Everything is possible in football, we have to keep that in mind.”

Lillestrøm is in second place in the Norwegian championship after seventeen days, five points behind leader Molde, who is one game behind.
