Ligue 2: a Guingampais already scores the goal of the year

It’s a goal he will remember and could be nominated for the Ferenc-Puskas trophy, synonymous with goal of the year. Winger Jérémy Livolant scored an exceptional goal this Saturday in Laval during the second day of L2.

While the two teams were tied (1-1), the Breton player scored the winning goal for his team thanks to a magnificent volley from 40m directly into the skylight of the Laval goalkeeper a quarter from the end. . An oh so important goal which allows Guingamp to record a second success in a row and to take, alone, the top of the L2 standings with two victories.

But we will especially remember the magnificent gesture of the striker who may have already scored the goal of the year from the second day of the championship.

Trained at Guingamp, Jérémy Livolant was loaned between 2017 and 2020 to Boulogne-sur-Mer, Châteauroux and Sochaux before returning to Brittany two years ago when the EAG was relegated to L2.

The 24-year-old striker had been selected for the France U16 team (11 caps) then U19 (4). There is no doubt that his second goal of the season after the one against Pau (4-0) last week and his team’s place as leader will give him confidence for the rest of the season.
