Kevin De Bruyne mocks English newspaper front page after joining Manchester City (pictured)


This Tuesday marks exactly seven years since Kevin De Bruyne arrived at Manchester City from Wolfsburg. A transfer that had made a lot of talk at the time given the amount paid by the Mancunians. And the English newspaper “Mirror Sport” was quick to point out that the Citizens had paid a handsome bundle of pounds to obtain the services of “the Chelsea flop”. De Bruyne did not fail to remind the British newspaper, with a publication on his various social networks in which he kindly makes fun of the front page of the time.

Seven years later, the Belgian midfielder’s record at Manchester City is exceptional with 312 matches played and 87 goals scored. He was also twice voted best player in the English league. This season, he is no exception to the rule since he has already scored a goal and provided three assists.
