Kayak duo Broekx/Peters (K2 500m) and Artuur Peters (K1 1000m) directly to A-final | European Championships

The European Championships are coming to an end, but for kayakers and canoeists it’s only just beginning. In the morning series, Artuur Peters kicked off for the Belgians with a strong performance in the K1 1,000 meters. That example was followed in the afternoon by his sister Hermien Peters, who reached the A-final of the K2 500 meters on the side of Lize Broekx after an exciting duel.

  2. 3 p.m. 8 p.m. Semi-finals for Sikkens/Peters. Artuur Peters tried to do the same with Bram Sikkens as his sister Hermien a few minutes ago. The Belgian kayak was able to keep up with the toppers, but in the end a 3rd place is their share. The Belgians now have to pass through the semi-finals to reach the A-final. .

  4. 3 pm 07. Broekx/Peters straight to the A-final. After a blood-curdling duel with the German kayak, Lize Broekx and Hermien Peters narrowly obtained a direct ticket for the final. To the naked eye there was no difference between the Belgians and the Germans. Germany was first declared the winner, but that was subsequently revoked. Broekx and Peters do not have to sail the semi-finals and can save their strength for the A-final on Saturday at 1.16 pm. .

  6. 09h46. Impressive Artuur Peters. Artuur Peters has qualified directly for the finals of the K1 1,000 meters as the winner of his series. Peters was (well) in the lead from start to finish and was even able to save some strength at the end. The final will be played on Saturday at 1 p.m. .
