Judo, Tommaso Fava from high school to the Junior World Championships in Ecuador

Fava will compete in the 90 kg category on August 12th. A category that has already seen him as a protagonist in the last two years both in Italy, where he won an Italian title among the under 21s and two overall medals, and in Europe where he won a medal and conquered numerous placings.

Tommaso had to share the preparation for the World Cup with another important test of his life, the maturity, brilliantly passed at the Liceo Scientifico of Foligno. Despite the school commitments and the record heat, thanks to the whole Kodokan Samurai Spello team, the boy still managed to train at a high level.

It is the first world championship for Tommaso – said the technician of the Kodokan Samurai Spello, Giulio Famà – I hope that he knows how to remain calm and that he is able to express himself on his own levels. He has already beaten some of the strongest athletes in the world, but it is a competition that does not allow mistakes or emotions“.

Emotions, on the other hand, which all the companions of Kdk Spello hope to experience and the Umbrian judo that puts its tradition and its future on the broad shoulders of Tommaso Fava.
