Judo, bronze medal for Agnese Zucco from Feltre at the Junior World Championships

The Feltre athlete Agnese Zucco, of the Nuova Florida Fitness Club in Ardea (Rome), won the bronze medal in the 63 kg category in Ecuador, the organizing country of the Junior Judo World Championship in recent days.
An amazing race that of Agnese who gave way only to the Japanese Ishioka Kurumi in the pool final, but then recovered to the great extent to conquer the final for the bronze, winning it against the Croatian Kristo Katarina.

“I am very happy with this medal because, aware of my abilities, I know I deserve it,” said Agnese Zucco at the end. «It was my first match in the national team; I would like to thank all the technicians, the doctor and the physiotherapist for the continuous support these days. Thanks in particular to maestro Salvatore Ferro who followed me in the race and to Alessandra Giungi who helped me in preparing for the race together with my mates from the New Florida Fitness Club. I want to dedicate this medal to my family, who daily supports and supports me in my path, always encouraging and understanding me. Thanks also to the guys from the national team who helped and endured me! Now I am going home and I continue to work for my path, ready for the next appointments! ».

In the last year Agnese has been able, moreover, to reconcile hard sports training with the study that saw her reach the goal of maturity with a 100 at the Liceo Scientifico Sportivo San Benedetto di Pomezia (Rome).
