Opening. Panamanian pitcher Jaime Barría charged yesterday with the loss of the Angels 2-1 against the Seattle Mariners in yesterday’s Major League match, in a game held at T-Mobile Park.
This was the right-hander’s first start this season, in which he worked 4.2 innings of three hits, one of which was a two-run home run in the third inning by Ty France, which represented the win.
He also allowed two runs, gave away four walks and struck out three, leaving his ERA at 2.65. He had worked this 2022 from the bullpen.
In his departure he made 76 pitches, of those 43 fell in the strike zone, while facing 21 batters, he left his record of 1-2.
The victory went to George Kirby, who pitched six innings in one run. The save was scored by Eric Swanson, his third of the year.
