Seventeen ! This is the number of the day. It corresponds to the number of associative structures of Auxerrois having confirmed their presence at one of the first popular events of the new season: “the OAH in celebration”! Second of the name, the event will take place on August 27th on the Brichères sports ground, opposite the Fourier high school in Auxerre. A playful and demonstrative, even educational way to distill information and to meet there for the tenants but also the general public all the partners of the social landlord…
AUXERRE : The initial edition of this meeting was called “Partners’ Day”. Placed on the baptismal font of creation at the end of August 2021, it already offered a somewhat convivial configuration of informal meetings with the various actors from institutional and associative life who usually collaborate with the Office Auxerrois de Habitat.
Question of semantics: the name of this resolutely festive event probably lacked a bit of relief and pep on the “marketing” side with the general public. It has been modified this year to make it even more direct in terms of its understanding.
Sporting activities but not only…
“The OAH in celebration” will therefore deliver its new copy in practice on Saturday August 27, for most of the day, from ten to six p.m. Using a procedure similar to that of last season, when the president of the Office Auxerrois de l’Habitat, Vincent VALLE, and the director of the venerable institution, Eric CAMPOY, welcomed nearly twenty associations from the ‘Auxerrois on the sports complex of the Parc des Brichères. Some offer exclusively sports activities, others do not. But all have the same common denominator: to be supported or worked on throughout the year with the social landlord of Yonne.

Seventeen of them who will take advantage of this public showcase to make themselves known and register the first registrations from new members have so far answered in the affirmative. However, we regret the absence of AJ Auxerre, with which the OAH has initiated a partnership relating to education and social cohesion, absent due to a sports meeting that evening. The proteges of Jean-Marc FURLAN will fight against Racing de Strasbourg.
Young and old, in a very family spirit, will meet to practice handball, football, rugby, American football, archery, boxing, badminton, pétanque, road cycling, mountain biking, billiards, etc.

A game is organized for the children. They will have to pass by each stand in order to be able to leave with gifts, including tickets for AJA’s home matches.
Admission is free and the site is fully enclosed.
