Authorities from the Undersecretary of Sports, Recreation and Tourism of the Ministry of Social Development lead the meeting in which the regulations and fixtures of the first edition of the competition, which will take place in Santa Rosa from September 9 to 11, will be defined.
Undersecretary Ceferino Almudévar opened the meeting this Monday before authorities from the other Patagonian provinces that will animate the event: Chubut, Neuquén, Santa Cruz, Río Negro and Tierra del Fuego.
The Patagonian Integration Games are an event created based on the guidelines of the provincial program “Less than 1000 + Sports” that promotes the practice of individual Olympic and Paralympic disciplines indoors for young people who live in towns with less than 1000 inhabitants, characteristics that are replicated in the different provinces of the region.
The meeting will last until next Wednesday and the program also includes the visit of the delegations to the venues designated to host the different sports.

In this framework, next weekend the provincial qualifying instance in badminton will be played at the Butaló sports center; powerlifting, at the Taurus CF gym; table tennis, at the headquarters of the Pampean Association; archery, at the Manuel Belgrano school; shot, in the Municipal Stadium; fencing, at the El Fortín club, and Olympic wrestling, at the Butaló sports center.
