SCHAIJK – Badminton club De Klapper in Schaijk has an attractive introductory offer. “For the first ten registrations, badminton is free throughout the season (with the exception of participation in tournaments outside Schaijk),” the club said.

At badminton club De Klapper, fun is paramount. “However, if you also want to play competition, participate in tournaments and receive extra training, that is also possible. De Klapper has an enthusiastic youth department that organizes many activities and is ready to grow further. If you are between 5 and 18 years old and are looking for a sport for Saturday morning, you are very welcome. We have youth members from Schaijk, but also from Reek, Zeeland and Berghem. Everyone finds it easy to connect because we think that is very important as a club.”

Badminton is fun at every level. “In the group of 5 to 8 years old, the bad minitonners, we do all kinds of games in addition to simple badminton exercises to improve eye-hand coordination, so that when you turn nine you can progress to the mini-ear group. Here you will learn the different badminton techniques. In this group you can also train extra on Wednesday evenings and play competition. Various tournaments are also organized by De Klapper and clubs in other places. If you go to secondary school, the group up to 18 years is suitable. In addition to the techniques, you also learn more about badminton tactics and you can of course also train on Wednesday and you can play competition and participate in tournaments. If you are looking for a social internship, you can also contact de Klapper as a youth member.”

Every year De Klapper organizes a youth camp, a weekend away with many fun activities such as campfires, colorful evenings and an exciting night game. This camp is for all youth groups.
