As expected, Gabriel Slonina has signed for Chelsea. The 18-year-old American is linked to the Blues until 2028 but he will not join London until the start of 2023, the time for him to end the season, on loan, with Chicago Fire.
The goalkeeper is considered one of the most promising in his position. A time close to Real Madrid, he finally decided to join Chelsea, who paid 10 M€, in addition to 5 M€ in bonuses. With the departure of Kepa Arrizabalaga to Naples, Slonina could well have a say in the second half of the season during cup matches.
