European Chamber Tianjin Chapter 2022 Badminton Tournament is coming on Saturday, August 6th. This year we’ll see you in INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF TIANJIN. Gather your team and come join us for some sports fun.

The 2022 Badminton Competition of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China Tianjin Branch will be held on Saturday, August 6 at the Tianjin Branch of the International School of Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone, Jinnan District.

>> Highlights Important Information:
* Tournament opens to teams organized by FIEs, domestic companies and institutions. Each company or institution up to 3 teams.
The competition is open to foreign companies, Chinese companies and institutions to register. Each company can register up to 3 teams.
* 8 players for each team, at lease 3 men and 3 females.
Each team consists of 8 players, with at least 3 male players and 3 female players.
* Energetic lunch box for players included.
Free nutritious lunch for the team members.
* 1 free exclusive opportunity to each team by inviting professional badminton trainer to your company before the tournament to introduce general rules and overall game plan .
Before the game, the Chamber of Commerce invites professional coaches to provide each team with a free badminton private education to enter the company to introduce the game rules and basic situation.
>> General Rules basic rules:
1. Teams decide which player to play which category before competing with another team. Cannot change category during this certain match with another team.

2. There will be 3 categories of matches: Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles. Each player can compete in ONLY ONE category during the competition with another team.
The competition is set up in 3 categories: “Men’s Doubles”, “Women’s Doubles” and “Mixed Doubles”.Team members can only participate in one type of competition at a certain time。
3. The Tournament will be a one day event. The schedule is one day.
- Round-Robin Match in the morning: participating teams will be divided into 4 groups, conduct round-robins within the group. The teams ranking top 2 in each group will enter the knock-out matches.
Morning setup round robin:The participating teams will be divided into four groups, and the round-robin competition will be conducted within the group. The top 2 teams in the group will enterKnockout in the afternoon。
- Knock-out Match and Finals in the afternoon: The winners of each group in the morning cross compete with each other according to the competing chart. Winners enter the semi-final and then the final games to compete for champion, 2nd and 3rd place.
Knockout rounds, semi-finals and finals will be set in the afternoon of the match day:The winning teams from the morning group will cross-play according to the battle table, and the winning teams will enter the semi-finals and finals, and then compete for the championship, runner-up and third place.
- Best-of-three sets for each match.
