Football: demoted to National 3, AS Béziers wants to find the light

Still in Ligue 2 four years ago, the ASB was demoted this summer.

So close, and yet so far. After having written one of the most beautiful pages in the history of Hérault football a few years ago, by hanging the promotion to Ligue 2AS Béziers experienced another terrible disappointment this summer with an administrative demotion to National 3. A decision judged “unfair” by President Gérard Rocquet, but which did not extinguish the club’s ambitions and desire to rebound.

“We’ve made a few mistakes, but we’ve also done some great things over the past fifteen years. The first team has moved up to Ligue 2, our youngsters are playing at the highest level.
