According to ESPN, both have an exit clause in case Barça fails to register the two players in LaLiga

They remain optimistic at the club, that in case of a problem they would talk to them and their agents

Two of the new signings of FC Barcelona, Andreas Christensen and Franck Kessié, could leave for free if Barça fails to register them in LaLiga before the first day of the championship, according to ESPN. The aforementioned media explains that this is how it appears in a clause of the contract of both footballers, who arrived at Barça with the letter of freedom.

Both footballers included this clause to have room for maneuver before the contracting market closes on August 31. At the club, however, they remain optimistic and are convinced that all the signings made and also the renewed Sergi Roberto and Dembélé will be able to play without problems against Rayo Vallecano. In addition, ESPN also points out that at Barça, if they could not register the players for the first day, they would talk to them and their agents so that they would not activate that option and wait, because there is time until August 31 to register all the football players.

KEEP WORKING

After giving up 25% of the television rights for 25 years in exchange for 667 million euros and selling 24.5% of Barça Studios for 100 million euros, the club continues to work to register all the players. For this, it has already sold another 24.5% of Barça Studios for another 100 million and work is being done on a salary reduction for Gerard Piqué and on an adaptation of Sergio Busquets’ file.
