MORELIA, Mich., August 12, 2022.- 100 days before soccer’s biggest party gets underway, the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, Mexican fans spoke through the most recent Consulta-Mitofsky survey, by making it clear that they do not expect much from the Mexican National Team; Gerardo Martino’s acceptance is rock bottom and they hope to see Raúl Jiménez and Javier Chicharito Hernández as starters.

According to the data released by the study, 65 percent of the people consulted have little or no interest in Qatar 2022, and incidentally, 32 percent said they expect a bad role from Mexico in the fair that will begin on November 20.

On the other hand, the Aztec fans also want to see Raúl Jiménez in 15.7 percent of the votes in the lead of the Tricolor. This is above Javier Hernández (14.5%), Rogelio Funes Mori (6.3%) and Santiago Giménez (with 3.1% of the votes).

While on the subject of technical direction, the Mexican fan disapproves of Gerardo Tata Martino’s management. Only 2% are satisfied and 12% somewhat satisfied, instead Osorio had 25% acceptance, El Piojo had 37 percent.

In Qatar 2022, the Mexican National Team will face Argentina, Poland and Saudi Arabia, as part of its Group C activity.
