Fabián Ruiz at PSG, a matter of hours

The Spanish international midfielder will leave Naples for a check estimated at just over €20m.

This time it’s the right one. Announced close to PSG for several days now, Fabián Ruíz is on the verge of signing. The Gazetta dello Sport affirmed in recent hours that the Spanish international midfielder of 26 will leave Naples for Paris on Tuesday in order to satisfy the traditional medical examinations. He will then sign for five years at the rate of five million euros a year, we are assured, as part of a transfer estimated at 23 million euros. the traditional flow of confirmation then began, Fabrizio Romano taking advantage, for example, to gratify his 11.4 million Twitter subscribers with his now traditional “Here we go“. Clearly, there is no longer any doubt: after four seasons in the Neapolitan colors, the ex-Betis player will put on the red and blue tunic. Besides, The Parisian had already fanned the little suspense that still remained in this file on Sunday evening, evoking an arrival on Monday.

This transfer does not mean, however, that Keylor Navas will necessarily go the opposite way towards Naples. The discussions are a priori close between the parties concerned. The arrival of Ruiz, on the other hand, should favor the departure of Leo Paredes towards Juventus Turin, as reported by La Gazzetta. If it is not part of the Parisian loft, the latter will not be selected. Others are pushed out more clearly, from Gana Gueye (Everton?) to Layvin Kurzawa (Fulham?), via Rafinha, Julian Draxler or Mauro Icardi (Galatasaray). Ander Herrera (Bilbao), Gini Wijnaldum (AS Rome) and another Thilo Kehrer (West Ham), have already left the Parisian ship.

Two more recruits after Fabian Ruiz?

With Fabian Ruiz, Christophe Galtier will have a new safe bet in the middle, a player who has made his silky technique speak on the grounds of Italy and Europe in recent years. Earlier this summer, Vitinha (ex-Porto) and Renato Sanches (ex-Lille) reinforced the Parisian midfield, while Hugo Ekitike (ex-Reims) and Nordi Mukiele (ex-Leipzig) also joined the Parc des Princes. It’s probably not over. Galtier had announced that he was expecting three more players this summer, including a midfielder, but also a striker and a defender. For this last position, the name of Milan Skriniar has been put forward for a long time but the demands of Inter Milan are too high for the taste of Luis Campos, who could turn to the Monegasque Axel Disasi. In the meantime, as far as the midfielder is concerned, the work is now complete with Fabian Ruiz.
