Explanation

Paul Jeal, F1 Senior Franchise Director at Codemasters, explains the changes. “The F1 22 Driver Ratings are an important part of My Team, the game mode in which the player both races and manages a team. By adjusting these ratings during the real F1 season, we ensure that the game becomes even more realistic. While the battle between Red Bull, Mercedes and Ferrari is reflected in this update, we have also seen a significant shift in the middle and rear of the driver field.”
